LOCATION: Barcelona, Spain

An ephemeral charcoal mural. This project was funded by FUNDACIÓN ARTE Y DERECHO. This was the first drawing to be filmed with a follow-up of a year and a half. A short film was produced by Filmchick Productions and has been seen around the world. Maria was a resident of the neighbourhood with a strong sense of identity to the location. This mural, among many others, is a celebration of the ‘regular’ person, but also a local hero.
